In many Latin American countries, the sponge cake or cake, made with flour, eggs, sugar and milk is known as cakes. However, for Cubans, cakes are something else. It is a kind of cookie with a cinnamon and anise flavor that is usually eaten wet in coffee with milk. The cakes were very famous throughout Cuba.
Ingredients:
Flour (Bleached wheat flour enriched, niacin reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, potasiumbromate, enzyme) dark brown sugar, refined lard (BHA 100 mg/kg max and BHT 100mg/kg 100 max) citric acid, baking soda, salt, honey, caramel color , flavor (water, pure anis oil, propylene glycol, xanthin gum, sodium benzoate) contains wheat, soy, milk and eggs ingredients.
